Maniyankode Arattu

Sree Maniyankode Temple, located at Kalpetta, is one of the Lord Vishnu temples in Wayanad. The lord here is worshipped in the Universal form. The major festival celebrated here is the arattu festival on the Revathy asterism in the Malayalam month of Kumbham (February-March). The major highlight of the festival is the Ezhunnallathu or procession of caparisoned elephants.
