Azhakodi Devi Temple Arattu

One of the Goddess Bhadrakali temples in Kozhikode, Sree Azhakodi Devi Temple is located at Thiruthiyadu in Kozhikode. The annual nine-day festival starts with a kodiyettam (ceremonial flag hoisting) on the Utrattathi asterism in the Malayalam month of Medam and ends on the Punartham asterism with an arattu.
The temple also celebrates Navarathri in a very grand manner.
