Kaliyattam of Mahalingeswara Mahavishnu Vinayaka Temple

Festival at this temple falls on makara samkramanam. Kaliyattam is conducted from 20th to 24th of malyalam month of Makaram (January- February). Annual festival of the temple commences with Kodiyet ceremony on the malayalam month of Kumbham (Feb-March). Thidambu Nirtham is carried out for two days ( dance done by holding decorated idol figure) . Thulabhaaram is conducted on the days of annual festival days alone.
The temple is famous for its vasthu and architectural significance.
