Mandala Pooja

Sree Dharma Sastha Temple at Aryankavu, popularly known as Aryankavu Sastha Temple is one of the popular Lord Ayyappa temples in Kerala. Located in the eastern forest ranges of Kerala, the important festivals celebrated here are the Mandala pooja in the Malayalam month of Dhanu (December last).
Other major festival celebrated here are Pandiyan Mudippu on the 10th of the Malayalam month of Dhanu (Mid December) and Trikalyanam on 11th of the Malayalam month of Dhanu (Mid December). Next year the Pandiyan Mudippu is on 25th December and Trikalyanam on 26th December.
Located on the Trivandrum – Tenkasi National Highway, in this temple, Lord Ayyappa is worshipped as a teenager. Like Sabarimala temple here too women from the age 10 to 50 are not allowed inside the temple.
