Kottikulam Poora Mahotsavam

Sree Kurumba Bhagavathy Temple, located at Kottikulam in Kasaragod is famous the Poora Mahostavam and the Poorakali. Dedicated to Mother Goddess, the Pooram festival starts on Karthika asterism of the Malayalam month of Meenam (March-April). The festival witnesses the performance of Poorakkali from the fifth day and the performance of Vishnumoorthy Theyyam from the third day onwards. The festival lasts for eight days. 

The temple celebrates the annual Arattu festival in the Malayalam month of Kumbham (February-March).
