Prathishta Dinam of Anathapura Lake Temple

Sree Ananthapadmanabha Swamy Temple, popularly known as Anathapura Lake Temple is the only lake temple situated in Kerala. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple is considered to be the moolasthanam (original abode) of Lord Padmanabha of Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram. 

The major festivals celebrated here are the Prathishta Dinam, held on the 24th day of the Malayalam month of Medam (May). 

The annual festival (Varshikotsavam) will be celebrated for a single day will be held on the 14th day of the Malayalam month of Kumbham (February).
