Festival at Shani Deva Temple

One of the rare temples in India dedicated to Lord Shani (planet Saturn), this temple is located at Nurani in Palakkad. The annual festival of Shani Deva Temple here falls on the transition of Sun from Dhanu to Vrsichikam (November-December). The temple has Navagraha (Nine planets) gods as sub deity.
