Tholani Mudi Festival

Tholani Bhagavathy Temple, located at Tholani in Kuthannur, Palakkad, is famous for the annual Tholani Mudi festival. Celebrated on the second Tuesday in the Malayalam month of Kumbham (February last), the festival witness elephant procession, Kettukaala (effigies of bull) and the ritual of Tholani Mudi.
