Sree Valayanad Devi Temple, dedicated to Mother Goddess, is situated in Valayanad on Mankavu-Govindapuram route in Kozhikode. Family deity of the royal family of Zamorins, the presiding deity of this temple is the goddess from Kashmir worshipped as Chandika.
The annual seven-day festival of this temple starts on Karthika asterism in the Malayalam month of Makaram (January-February). The festival ends with arattu (holy bath) ceremony.
There will be forty days Kalamezhuthum Pattum from the 1st of Vrischikam (November).
