Banana chips


Skinless raw plantain banana cut into round slice – ½ Kg
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Salt - as required
Oil - as required for frying

Method of Preparation:

In a pan, add oil and let it boil. Add thin slices of banana cut in round shape. Fry it well. Dissolve salt and turmeric powder in water. Immerse banana in oil completely. Add oil if needed and mix well. It should not stick to each other. Fry well. Sprinkle salt water and fry again. Strain it on a tissue paper to remove excess oil. Store it in an air tight container. If needed, we can add fried curry leaves to this.
