Beef Egg Masala


Beef – ½ Kg (chopped)
Pepper powder – ¼ tsp
Boiled eggs – 3 nos
Chili powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 2 tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Curry masala – 1 tsp
Fennel powder – ½ tsp
Shallots cut into two – ¼ cup
Chopped onions – ½ cup
Chopped green chilies – 4 nos
Salt – as required
Chopped tomatoes – ½ cup
Curry leaves – as required
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Dried red chilies – 4 nos
Chopped coriander leaves – ½ cup

Method of Preparation:

Cook beef in a pressure cooker with required amount of water, salt, turmeric powder and pepper powder. In a pan, add oil first and then add onion, shallots, green chilies, tomatoes and sauté well. Add cooked beef to it along with dry powders (chili, coriander, turmeric, curry masala, fennel), salt and water. Mix it to make a thin consistency and cook with the lid closed. Let the gravy thicken. In a pan, add oil and splutter mustard seeds. Add dried red chilies and curry leaves. Add this to the curry. Add eggs (cut into 4) into the curry. Garnish with coriander leaves. Tasty beef egg masala is ready.
