Chicken Masala


Chicken cut in medium – ½ Kg
Curd – ¼ cup
Chopped ginger – 2 tsp
Garlic chopped – 2 tsp
Chopped green chilies – ¼ cup
Chili powder – 1 tsp
Chicken masala – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 3 tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Pepper powder – ½ tsp
Curry leaves – as required
Salt – as required
Coriander leaves – as required
Oil – as required
Chopped onion – 1 cup
Tomatoes – 3 nos

Method of Preparation:

In a hot pan, add 4 tsp of oil. Add onion, ginger, garlic and green chilies. Sauté till the color fades. Now add tomatoes along with chicken pieces, dry curry powders (chili, chicken masala, coriander, turmeric, and pepper), salt, curry leaves and required amount of water. Close the lid and cook. Cook on low flame. Gravy should be thick. Garnish with coriander leaves.
