Crushed Meat Thoran


Cooked beef or chicken (Cook with salt, ½ tsp of pepper powder, ½ tsp of turmeric powder) – ½ Kg
Chopped onion – 2 cups
Chopped green chilies – 4 nos
Chili powder – ½ tsp
Curry leaves – as required
Chopped ginger and garlic – 2 tsp
Coriander leaves – as required
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Meat masala powder – ½ tsp
Chopped coconut bits – ½ cup
Salt – as required
Coconut oil – as required

Method of Preparation:

In a thick bottomed pan, add 4 tsp of oil and splutter mustard seeds. Add curry leaves, coconut bits, onion, green chilies, ginger and garlic. Sauté well. Add chili powder, masala powder and chopped meat (without bone) along with salt and turmeric powder. Sauté well. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
