Dried Prawns Pickle


Cleaned dry prawns – ¼ Kg
Chili powder – 2 tsp
Green Chilies – 4 nos (cut vertically)
Chopped ginger – 1 tsp
Chopped garlic – ½ tsp
Pepper powder – ½ tsp
Vinegar – ¾ cup
Gingelly oil – ¼ cup
Curry leaves – as required
Salt – as required

Method of Preparation:

In a pan add gingelly oil. Heat the oil and add dried prawns into it. Remove dried prawns from the oil. Now add curry leaves, green chilies, ginger and garlic and sauté well. To this add vinegar mixture (vinegar + dried curry powder (chili, pepper)). Let the mixture boil. Now add dried fried prawns and mix well.
