Fish Fry


Cleaned fish (make cuts in the fish body) – ½ Kg
Chili powder – 1 ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 ½ tsp
Pepper powder – ½ tsp
Shallot paste – 4 tsp
Salt - as required
Coconut oil - as required
Lemon juice – half of lemon

Method of Preparation:

Marinate fish with curry powder (chili, turmeric, pepper), ginger-garlic paste, shallot paste, lemon juice and salt for 2 hours. In a flat bottomed-pan, add oil and shallow fry the fish. When one side of the fish gets cooked flip it to the other side and fry it well. Make sure not to break the pieces. Garnish with sliced onion and oil roasted tomatoes.
