Kerala Culture



Potato – 200 gm
Chopped carrot – 1 cup
Chopped green chilies – 3 nos
Garam masala powder – ¼ tsp
Chili powder – ½ tsp
Pepper powder – ½ tsp
Ginger – garlic paste – 1 tsp
Semolina – a little
Salt - as required
Egg – 1 no
Chopped onion – ½ cup
Chopped coriander leaves – ½ cup

Method of Preparation:

Mash the cooked potatoes. In a hot pan, add oil. Add ginger-garlic and onions and sauté well. To this add carrots and green chilies and sauté again. Now add potatoes, dry curry powder (garam masala, chili, pepper) and salt. Mix it well. Let the mixture cool. Make small balls of it in oval shape. Dip it in whisked egg. Dip again in semolina (crushed). Deep fry it.
