Seasoned Buttermilk

Buttermilk – 2 cups
Chopped shallots – 2 tsp
Chopped ginger – 2 tsp
Chopped green chilly – 2 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – as required
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Dried red chilies – 4 nos
Chili powder – 1/s tsp
Salt – as required
Coconut oil – as required
Sugar – ¼ tsp
Method of Preparation:
In a pan, add oil. To the oil add mustard seeds, shallots, dried red chilies and curry leaves. Now add ginger, green chilies, cumin seeds and sauté well. To this add turmeric powder, chili powder and sauté till raw smell goes off. Add buttermilk and salt and mix well.
