Red gram (soaked in water overnight) – 1 cup (Red peas)
Chopped ash gourd – 2 cups
Long beans (cut into 1 inch length) – ½ cup
Green chilies cut into two – 4 nos
Coconut thin milk – 1 cup
Coconut thick milk – 1 cup
Coconut oil – 2 tsp
Curry leaves – 3 strands

Method of Preparation:

Cook red gram in water. In a pan cook all the vegetables (ash gourd, long beans, green chilies) by adding thin coconut milk. Add cooked red gram to it. After 3 minutes, add thick coconut milk. Cook it, do not boil it. Add left out coconut milk and curry leaves. Serve hot.
