Oratti

Ingredients:
 
Rice powder – 1 cup
Water – 1 ½ cup
Salt - as required
Shallots – 10 nos
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Grated coconut – ½ cup
Oil - as required
Plantain leaf
 
Method of Preparation:
 
In a thick bottomed pan, boil water, salt and 2 tsp of oil. To this add flour, grated coconut, cumin seeds and crushed shallots. Make soft dough with it. If required, add warm water. Spread oil in a plantain leaf. With the dough make small balls. Keep it on the plantain leaf and spread it using your hands. Roast it in a non-stick tawa.
