Pappad Thoran

Cooked Pappad – 15 nos
Chopped onion – 1 cup
Chopped green chilies – 2 nos
Chili powder – ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Grated coconut – 1 cup
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Urad dal – 2 tsp
Curry leaves – as required
Dried red chilies – 3 nos
Salt – as required
Oil – as required
Garlic – 4 pods
Method of Preparation:
In a pan add oil. Splutter mustard seeds and urad dal. Add dried red chilies and curry leaves. To this add onion, green chilies and sauté. Add dry curry powders (chili, turmeric, garam masala) and sauté. Add crushed Pappad and salt to this. Now add coarsely ground mix of coconut, cumin seeds, garlic and curry leaves. Mix well and sauté for 2 minutes.
