Pepper Chicken


Cooked chicken (chopped and marinated in salt, pepper and turmeric powder) – ½ Kg
Crushed pepper – 2 tsp
Crushed shallots – 2 cups
Crushed ginger and garlic – 3 tsp
Sliced onion – 1 cup
Curry leaves – as required
Salt – as required
Coconut oil – as required

Method of Preparation:

In a hot pan, add ¼ cup of oil. To this, add crushed shallots, ginger, garlic and sauté well. To this add the cooked chicken, salt and curry leaves. Sauté well. Then add crushed pepper. (Chili powder and coriander powder are not used in this curry). Sauté well and garnish with onions.
