This inscription was issued in the twenty-second and final year of the reign of Ay king Karunandadakan. The inscription dates back to AD 1373 (Kollavarsham 548) and is about the donation of twenty-five cows to the Thiruvidacode temple for the conduct of Nandavilakku ritual.
The language in the inscription disproves the theory that Thunchathu Ramanujan Ezhuthachan implemented modern alphabet in Malayalam.
