Kappa Puzhukku


Tapioca ½ kg
Coconut oil 1 tblsp
Curry leaves  2 sprigs

Make a paste of

Grated coconut 1 bowl
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Cumin seeds ½ tsp
Garlic 5 pods
Bird’s eye chillies  12 nos
Salt  to taste

Method of Preparation

Slice the tapioca into small pieces. Cook it in a pressure cooker by adding salt and water till you hear 1 whistle. When the pressure settles, drain the water. Add the paste into this and mix well. Cook in low flame. Pour some soil and add some curry leaves into this. Kappapuzhukku is ready!
