Papaya Thoran


Grated Papaya   1 bowl
Turmeric powder    ¼ tsp

To make a paste

Grated coconut    1 bowl
Bird eyes Chillies    8 nos
Cumin seeds    ¼ tsp
Turmeric powder   ¼ tsp
Garlic   3 cloves

For seasoning

Red chillies      1 no
Mustard    ¼ tsp
Coconut oil  1 tbsp

Method of preparation

Splutter mustard, red chillies, curry leaves in oil. Put the grated papayas into it.  Mix well. Close it with lid and cook for some time. 

Now make a paste of grated coconuts, bird eye chillies, turmeric powder, garlic and salt and add this to the papaya. Cook it in low flame. Once ready, serve hot.
